Overall Progress

So on the left isn't me at my heaviest... I just don't have any photos of me at my heaviest (10 stone 6). Still...you can definitely see a difference!

.....Ok so I confess the one on the right isn't me...it's Victoria Secret Model Adriana Lima. ha. A girl can dream!

Progress So Far

Ok so I finally got to 9 stone 3! I know I'm not looking Kate Upton-esque quite yet, but I think |I have done well. I wanted to take some photos to see if there was actually a notable difference in my size/ shape (You know when you lose weight sometimes you're not sure if the scales are lying/ you've just lost water weight and actually you are the same as before...) So photos are KEY!.
Ok so I definitely have lost a bit of weight (VERY slowly  and I might not be happy with my figure now, but I feel proud of myself for managing to get this far via a normal healthy slow weight loss regime (rather than a 2 week starvation diet which always works for me but ALWAYS results in putting it all back on). Hopefully this time, because I have lost it so slowly  it will stay off!
The great thing is, I've been eating chocolate, roast dinners, palma ham, pea nuts and ice lollies etc... so it's great to know that you can still lose weight without giving every nice thing up.
So I guess how I have done it is by trying not to binge eat junk food anymore, so I often have a bit but I will just have a handful or two of crisps instead of 2 family size bags. Moreover, I've really cut down on alcohol and have been making healthier choices - lots of soup, meat and veg, fish and salads, but still allowed myself treats. Additionally I haven't been eating that many carbs (only a few potatoes) and I'm surprised to say I don't miss pasta or bread....weird?! I thought that would destroy me!
Lastly, I have been playing tennis every other day and going on some runs / doing yoga. I will pick up the exercise even more once I get below 9 stone so I don't go into a 'weight loss slum'.

OK! So here are some pics I found to keep me motivated. I started off as a size 14 and would like to be an 8 or an 8/10. I think Kate Upton (photos 3 and 4) is absolutely beautiful, has an amazing figure and is both every man's fantasy and a great role model for young girls. She is definitely NOT FAT! Go Kate!




NEW START

Ok. So it's been a year (and a bit) since I decided to do this and once again I have yo-yoed. I won't go into the boring details but once again I want to lose weight. Scrap that. Once again I am GOING to lose weight.

SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE

Ok so I have yo-yo-ed a bit in the past month and ended up 10 s 3. great. SO, I always lose weight, put it back on, lose it again, put even more on...etc... so for once I'm going to take the experts advice and lose weight slowely, healthily. I guess people are always looking for a quick fix. well here is my experiment: lose 1 stone and a half in 10 weeks. that's at a healthy rate of 2 lbs a week, (with a bit more in the first week, as you always lose a little more) and then slowing down to 1lb a week as I approach my goal weight. I don't know why it seems so problematic for it to take that long, 10 weeks is no time at all! this summer has been that long and it's flown by, and I'm in exactly the same position as I was before.

SO hopefully this may actually work? starting from 12th sept, let's see if this works.
